sadly , changed its name to Windsors & went for the wine bar look that was in vgoue about 10 years ago. It appears to have helped custom. There are normally some good real ales on . It can be very smokey ( as can the Victoria , which is worse ) , but there is a lively scene here on weekends , although it is very 'local'.
Worth a visit.
